This is an example of a river in America where they do the Whitewater Tubing.

Whitewater, usually spelled white water in both American and British English, is formed in a rapid, when a river's gradient increases enough to create so much turbulence that air is entrained into the water body, that is, it forms a bubbly or aerated and unstable current; the frothy water appears white. The term is also loosely used to refer to less turbulent, but still agitated, flows.
The term "whitewater" also has a broader meaning, applying to any river or creek itself that has a significant number of rapids. The term is also used as an adjective describing boating on such rivers, such as whitewater canoeing or whitewater kayaking.

But in Sarangani Province, Philippines our famous river where we are doing this water tubing is in Pangi River.

The clean waters of Pangi River in New La Union, Maitum, Sarangani Province, is where the water tubing action is.
For just Php 150, you would be provided with a life vest and helmet plus river guide and also the ultimate gear for the ride: the interior of big tires or simply, the TUBE.
After gearing up, you walk or ride the horse or vehicle upstream for the briefing on the shallow part of the river.
Thereon, it’s a wild 1.6-kilometer ride over rocks and white water.
The river guides would be beside you all through the ride. They would tell you when the big rapids are for you to close your mouth so you won’t get to drink the river water like I did. Almost 2 liters of it.
There are brief stops before big rapids. This is why the ride is best enjoyed with a group. You get to compare who drank the most water or who capsized and laugh about it at the stops.
One doesn’t think of how long you’ve been in the water only of how short the ride is. So, you ride again and again and again. It is an adventure like no other.
When one tubes, you also get to appreciate the beauty of having a clean river and hope that it would remain as clean for coming generations to enjoy. Adventure and environment awareness in one.
What To Expect and Bring:
Swim wear. It is one big river and one wild ride so expect to be drenched.
Lather on sunblock/sunscreen with SPF 100.
Bring bottled water. Rehydrate.
If you want to stay overnight, there’s a house with twin rooms for 150/person.
Lather on mosquito repellant.
Meals are to be arranged with your guides.
How To Get There:
